When I switched to Windows 7 Ultimate suddenly it says "Windows Media Player" cannot play the file because of the missing codecs. Installing some well known codecs distribution doesn't solve the issue either like Klite codecs package and Shark Windows 7 codecs.</p> <p>So the solution is to download the MediaInfo program available from sourceforge and check what is the missing offending codec.
