All you have to do is get Firefox 3 during Download Day to help set the record for most software downloads in 24 hours - it’s that easy. Set a Guinness World Record Enjoy a Better Web. We're not asking you to swallow a sword or to balance 30 spoons on your face, although that would be kind of awesome. That is the catch line from the Firefox 3.0 Spread Firefox download day pledge website. Download day for Firefox 3.0 is already official June 17, 2008. We are joining the community of Firefox users on that big event. Firefox 3 is based on the Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform, which has been under development for the past 34 months. Building on the previous release, Gecko 1.9 has more than 15,000 updates including some major re-architecting to provide improved performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 has been built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot more under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers. More Secure - One-click site info: Click the site favicon in the location bar to see who owns the site and to check if your connection is protected from eavesdropping. Identity verification is prominently displayed and easier to understand. When a site uses Extended Validation (EV) SSL certificates, the site favicon button will turn green and show the name of the company you're connected to.
I recently found this while browsing and, I can surely say this is a cool one after trying it. The features are extensible that of course is if you have time to tweak it. So what does songbird do? Songbird plays the Media Web. Songbird is a desktop media player mashed-up with the Web. Songbird is committed to playing the music you want, from the sites you want, on the devices you want, challenging the conventions of discovery, purchase, consumption and organization of music on the Internet. Songbird is a player and a platform. Like Firefox, Songbird is an open source, Open Web project built on the Mozilla platform. Songbird provides a public playground for Web media mash-ups by providing developers with both desktop and Web APIs, developer resources and fostering Open Web media standards, to wit, an Open Media Web. Play MP3s without leaving the page. Songbird views Web pages as dynamic playlists to play, save, download or subscribe to.
I recently encountered this error two days ago when I try to change my feedburner feeds to enable podcasting feeds. After adding additional wordpress plugins there it goes my feeds suddenly doesn't seem to work. Code error creeps in our site and it has been a headache for a while. So the trouble shooting begins: First I try to resolve the error from my RSS feeds by going to www.feedvalidator.org the site give me the following solution so I followed the steps faithfully. Solution * PHP also uses a similar notation: . Note that the final php ?> should be omitted from all PHP code files—modules, includes, etc. The closing delimiter is optional in PHP (but not in XML), and removing it helps prevent unwanted white space at the end of files which can cause problems with your feeds. * Check your wp-rss2.php and wp-atom.php files for blank lines outside of bracketed sections. * Check your wp-config.php file for blank lines outside of bracketed sections. * Check your theme's functions.php file for blank lines outside of bracketed sections. * One by one, disable plugins and revalidate until you isolate the one causing the problem. So the final solution is to disable the plugins we're using which is quite painful especially if you're site's layout are dependent on the plugins that you are using. So you're solution would be either to ignore your RSS; error or do it painfully and start troubleshooting. Of course the reward would be excellent. See now my feeds are working.
